Handmade lip blam with flavorings

handmade lip balmhow to cure chapped lips
Winters are near, and most of us would already be getting chapped lips. Most of my subscribers are asking me to write some tips on how to cure chapped lips?
So here's an easy way on how to cure chapped lips and make handmade lip balms at home. You can also have lip balm flavorings of your choice. The ingredients are just simple and easily available at home:

Recipe for handmade lip balm:

Mix equal parts of olive or almond oil and cocoa butter/petroleum jelly. Add a dollop of honey, a few drops of peppermint or any flavored essence of your choice (lets say vanilla or strawberry essence). Stick in microwave for 10-15 seconds. Swirl together, stick in fridge to cool and that's it. Your handmade lip balm is ready :-)

There is another fun thing you can do with your lip balm for lip balm flavorings. If you are using petroleum jelly as a base then you can add any food color of your choice or mix two or more different colors together in separate petroleum base and when it is still hot add the first color in pot, then the second and swirl it with a toothpick or a fork and you'll get a result like this.

You may also mix two flavors for a sexy lip balm flavoring, enjoy.
